
Our Volunteer to Work Program provides women and gender-diverse individuals with a supportive environment to gain Canadian workplace experience, build confidence, and strengthen key job-readiness skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management.
As a volunteer, you’ll contribute directly to our mission by sorting donations and preparing our boutique for clients – gaining resume-building experience, professional connections, and valuable insight into a collaborative workplace.

Flexible Scheduling:
You can choose the shifts that best fit your availability Tuesdays through Saturdays:
- Morning: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Participant Eligibility:
To participate in the Volunteer to Work Program, you must be:
- Able to communicate in conversational English
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Eager to gain or strengthen workplace experience
- Reliable and committed to scheduled shifts
- Able to lift 10-25 lbs and stand for 4 hours at a time
Recognition & Reward
After successfully completing 10 shifts, participants receive:
- A Certificate of Completion
- A Letter of Recommendation to support job, school, or volunteer applications
