WWG | The Working Women’s Group

The Working Women’s Group (WWG), formerly the Professional Women’s Group (PWG), is a free 6-month cohort program designed for women and gender-diverse individuals seeking guidance, inspiration, and community. This program supports participants at any career level as they navigate growth, tackle challenges, and embrace opportunities in both their professional and personal lives.

Dress for Success Vancouver offers multiple cohorts throughout the year. See the upcoming cohorts listed below and join an empowering environment dedicated to supporting your growth!

WWG has three components:

  1. MONTHLY SESSIONS: Each month on a Saturday morning, a WWG cohort will come together virtually to learn and discuss a topic related to leadership and civic engagement, health and wellness, financial literacy, work-life alignment, or navigating the workplace. Each session is led by an expert in their field.
  2. MENTORING: Upon successful completion of the 6-month cohort, WWG graduates are eligible to be matched with a mentor for one-on-one support in pursuing their personal and professional goals. Mentor-mentee pairs meet at least once a month to discuss short- and long-term objectives, address challenges, and develop strategies that empower the mentee to thrive in all areas of life. Interested in volunteering as a Mentor for WWG? Attend an upcoming Volunteer Orientation Session or email us at [email protected].
  3. NETWORKING & COMMUNITY: Networking and community-building in WWG happen both during meetings and through our online platform. This platform offers members and mentors a dedicated space to share information, resources, and experiences, fostering connection and support.
